With heavy snowfall and many power outages across our 4 county area, the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System will be closed on Wed. Feb. 24. Regional delivery will not take place. Please alert staff at your library whose work involves delivery tasks.

WMRLS is closed on Wednesday, February 10

Dear Western Massachusetts Libraries:

With worsening road conditions expected throughout the day today across our 4 county area, the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System will be closed on Wed. Feb. 10. Regional delivery will not take place. Please alert staff at your library whose work involves delivery tasks.

The WMRLS Executive Board will hold its meeting by a conference call at 2 p.m. this afternoon, as detailed in emails to board members yesterday and this morning.

WMRLS is closed on Wednesday, December 9

Due to hazardous driving conditions expected across the 4 county area through much of today, the Western Massachusetts Regional Library System (WMRLS) will be closed today. There will be no delivery, and the workshop "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly: New Teen Books" has been canceled. Please notify any staff at your library if their work is affected by delivery.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety of staff, vehicles and library materials is of utmost importance. We expect to resume full services tomorrow.

WMRLS Opening at 10:30 today - Delivery Very Limited

Dear Western Region Libraries:
Due to widespread icing of roads through much of our service area, the Western MA Regional Library System will be opening late at 10:30, today, Dec. 12, 2008. A modified delivery schedule will be in effect. Libraries whose deliveries are canceled will be contacted by telephone after WMRLS Headquarters opens.
